Cookie Policy

O&C Management Services Ltd

Last updated: 1 September 2026  ·  Version 2.0

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. It applies to ocms.uk. Our property microsites are separate websites with their own cookie arrangements.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal data more generally.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website puts on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things between pages and between visits, such as what you put in a form or whether you have already dismissed a message. Similar technologies, including pixels, tags, local storage and tracking gifs, do much the same job, and where we refer to cookies below we mean all of them.

2. Your choices

When you first visit our website you will see a cookie banner. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is placed on your device until you accept.

The banner lets you accept or decline each group of non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of any page.

Declining non-essential cookies will not stop you using the site. A few things that rely on content from other companies, such as an embedded video, may not load until you accept.

3. The categories we use

Strictly necessary. Needed for the website to work: security, remembering your cookie choice, and keeping track of a form or a session. These do not need your consent and cannot be switched off.

Analytics. Tell us how the site is used, which pages are popular and where visitors come from, so we can improve it. These need your consent.

Advertising. Set by Google Ads. They let us measure whether our advertising works and show our adverts to people who have visited our site before. These need your consent.

We do not currently use any other category. If we add embedded content from another company, such as a video player or a social feed, we will add it here first.

Google Analytics and Google Ads are provided by Google. Their privacy information is published on the Google website.

5. Content embedded from other websites

We do not currently embed videos, maps or social media feeds in our pages. Where you see a link to our YouTube, LinkedIn or Facebook pages, it is an ordinary link: nothing is loaded from those companies until you click it and go to their site.

If we add embedded content in future, it will behave as though you had visited that company's own site, and the provider may set its own cookies. We will update this policy and hold that content back until you accept non-essential cookies.

6. Our emails

Our marketing emails are sent through Mailchimp and contain small invisible images that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to understand what people find useful and to improve what we send.

You can stop this by turning off images in your email software, or by unsubscribing using the link at the bottom of any of our emails.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

As well as our banner, your browser lets you control cookies directly. You can usually:

  • delete cookies already stored
  • block all cookies, or only third-party cookies
  • clear cookies each time you close the browser
  • browse in a private or incognito window

Every browser does this slightly differently, and the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox explain how. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of most websites working properly, including ours.

8. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year, and whenever we add or remove a service that sets cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
